Wednesday, during the U.S. stock overnight trading session, Cooper climbed 2.99%. Barclays initiated coverage with an Equal Weight rating and a $60 price target, citing a balanced risk-reward profile and a neutral stance on near-term catalysts.

Shares retreated despite stronger-than-expected results (Q2 sales $2.63B; adjusted EPS $3.74) and the SpikedAde acquisition ($75M upfront, up to $278M earnout), with beer sales up 5% and wine and spirits growing, as fiscal 2027 adjusted EPS guidance of $11.20-$11.90 lagged the $11.71 consensus, management called for enterprise organic net sales between a decline of 1% and an increase of 1%, and investors focused on softer underlying beer demand.
