On the news front, GENSCRIPT BIO recently announced a collaboration with Eli Lilly's AIDD collaboration platform Lilly TuneLab. Under the agreement, the company will provide wet lab services to TuneLab participating enterprises, helping them rapidly generate experimental data, convert AI predictions into biological validation data, and accelerate candidate drug evaluation.
JPMorgan stated that this move serves as a strategic gateway to access an ecosystem of over 100 Biotech clients and to close the loop between dry and wet lab experiments. CITIC Securities noted that GENSCRIPT BIO's AIDD-related revenue in the first half of the year was close to US$40 million and is expected to maintain rapid growth in the coming years. The company recently completed a Hong Kong share placement, with the proceeds expected to be mainly used for AIDD capacity building. As AI drug discovery gradually moves from computational science toward deep integration with experimental science, the company is expected to continue benefiting.
