UMS Integration Limited announced on Oct, 5 2026 that it has received an approval-in-principle from Singapore Exchange Regulation for the proposed placement of up to 52,941,100 new ordinary shares.
The exchange’s notice, dated Oct, 2 2026, allows the listing and quotation of the placement shares on the Mainboard, provided the company meets all applicable listing requirements, discloses the use of proceeds in accordance with Listing Rules 704(30) and 1207(20), and ensures the exercise does not result in a transfer of controlling interest or an allocation to restricted parties under Listing Rule 812. The shares must be placed within seven market days from the date of the approval.
UMS Integration said no directors or substantial shareholders have an interest in the placement, except that independent director Xie Xingbei Pearlyn is a partner at Shook Lin & Bok LLP, the legal adviser to the company for the transaction.
The board stated it will provide further updates on material developments and advised shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in its shares.
